Description

On the whistle, both players skate up to the red line and STOP. The forward calls for a pass from the coach and the defense pivots backwards playing the one on one.

Have the defense stop short if they are getting beat too easily.

Notes: Forwards, drive outside to build speed. Cut to the inside if the defense allows it.
Defense, try to match the speed of the attacker and control the gap. Don't lose speed by crossing over too many times.
