Description

On whistle, coach dumps puck into zone. Team breaks out using system and attacks 5 on 2 against the defenders who have stepped out. Play continues until a goal is scored or whistle is blown.

Coach dumps a puck into zone and players attack the opposite way with the attacking defensemen now defending.

Three times up and down the ice per group. Players not participating are on the benches, out of the way.

Notes: Switch up corners for dump-ins so they practice breaking out both sides. D can switch things up on breakout by passing to strong side winger, center or reversing and going to the weak side.
