Description

On the whistle, the D start. D skates with puck behind the net and either turns sharply or makes a hard stop and or bank pass to themselves (escape) and looks to make a pass up ice.

Forwards delay, watching the D in front of them and timing to streak up the boards for a pass.

After making the pass, the D skate up to the blue line and close the gap on the attacking forward from the other end, playing the 1 on 1.
