This drill was created using HockeyShare.com's Online Drill Drawing & Practice Planning Platform.
Players line up as shown. On the whistle F1 starts by skating around the circle and shoots on goal, follows puck to the net looking for an opportunity to score and then turns to face the point.
F2 then passes the puck to D1. D1 passes across to D2 who shoots a low, tippable shot on goal. F1 tries to tip puck or score off rebound.
F1 then skates to the corner and picks a puck up from the coach, driving down the ice for a scoring opportunity at the other end. D2 closes the gap into the corner, pivots and plays the 1 on 1 down the ice.
F2 then becomes F1, D1 slides over to D2 and new D steps in as D1. Drill keeps repeating.
Skaters coming back skate up the boards to stay out of the way.
